In late August, 1973, Thomas Hewitt slaughtered several more youths who had the misfortune of coming upon the family's territory. This practice became a trademark for Tommy Hewitt as his growth into a psychotic maniac continued to evolve, earning himself the nickname - Leatherface. He took his face and made it into a mask. Thomas murdered a young man named Eric and skinned him alive. It was soon after, that he began developing a penchant for wielding a chainsaw. ![]() facility was shut down in 1969, Thomas murdered the supervisor. Ironically, he began working at the same slaughterhouse where he had been born. As an adult, Charlie got Thomas a job as butcher. Luda May took him as her own son and brought him home where he was raised along with Charlie Hewitt.Īs he grew up, Tommy's mental development was abnormal and he took to wearing a leather mask to hide his facial deformities. The supervisor of the plant, taking note of Thomas' hideous deformities threw him into a garbage dumpster, where he was then recovered by Luda May Hewitt. Thomas Brown Hewitt was born in July, 1939 to a beef inspector named Sloane, who had died during childbirth on the floor of the Lee Bros. The head has messy brown hair growing out of it and looks as though the victim had been slightly scalped or the hair began to fall out due to decay, Thomas seems to be wearing the same outfit as he did in the prequel except his tie is loose and his outfit is very tattered, a new addition is the strong plates that he wears on his arms most likely to protect himself from his chainsaw. In the original 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Thomas wears the face of most likely someone he skinned and cannibalized, the face is white and lumpy and has been stitched together to fit Thomas’s face. Over everything is a bloodied beige apron, Thomas’s skin is light with a tint of pink with blue eyes and black shoulder length matted hair. He wears what looks to be dirty brown trousers under large bulky black boots. Throughout the prequel, Thomas wears a button up striped green and red shirt along with a gold and black striped tie. In the 2006 prequel Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Thomas is seen to have a very bulky and big boned body, he is believed to stand at 6’5. In the canon prequel from 2017, Leatherface, Thomas is seen being good looking and even flirting with the nurse who was taking care of him in the mental ward. ![]()

It’s lifted the rather dark and muddy tones in this image (left) to recreate the bright warm tones of my reference image (the ‘after’ version is on the right of this split screen view). Initially it’s been optimized for wedding and event photography. The new Smart Adjustments feature matches Exposure and White Balance settings across a batch of images. You can set a ‘reference’ photo with the look you like and then Capture One will adjust the Exposure, White Balance or both across the rest of your images to give them the same look. One of my favorites is the new Cull view, which can be used both when importing images and when sorting through images you’ve already imported into your catalog. Image credit: Rod LawtonĬapture One 23 brings a number of significant improvements. What’s new in Capture One 23? Capture One’s new Cull view is extremely useful for thinning out duplicates and technical failures in long photo shoots and picking out the ‘keepers’. Like Lightroom, Capture One can organise your images in flexible, searchable databases, or ‘catalogs’, and both can apply non-destructive adjustments to your images, working seamlessly across RAW files, JPEGs, TIFFs and even Photoshop PSD files. Be aware, though, that it’s around 2-3 times the price that Lightroom Classic ever was to buy, and that the monthly subscription for Capture One is more than twice that for the Adobe Photography Plan – and you don’t get all the extras provided by Adobe such as Photoshop and cloud storage. This looks like it’s designed for a tethered shooting workflow and not as a Lightroom mobile style app that synchronizes with a cloud-based photo library.Ĭapture One 23 is available both for a single one-off fee or on subscription. There is also a Capture One for iPad, sold separately, which I have not tested yet. The free version allows a single session at a time lasting no more than 24 hours, but that may be enough on its own – or may give you an idea about the usefulness of the full version.

On most 64-bit carrier-class systems (Solaris, Linux, BSD), CommuniGate Pro can reach 90,000 sessions per system. The density of users is critical in data centers, as it allows to significantly reduce administration costs, electricity, cooling. As a result, the provider can achieve a much greater density of users on each server compared to corporate solutions. The CommuniGate Pro platform uses hardware resources very efficiently. And for our customers using Dynamic Cluster, clouds serving more than 20,000 small (5-30 end users) companies are completely common.Īt the same time, in the case of IP PBXs and email solutions that were not designed for use as a SaaS platform, management becomes more complicated with the growth of the user base due to the fact that the number of separate parts increases - proxy server, database, LDAP servers, media gateways, etc.ĭynamic Cluster is an elegant solution, growing at no extra cost along with your user base. SaaS service providers for small businesses and individual entrepreneurs need an easily scalable system. Thus, managing a large-scale infrastructure is much simpler than in the case of corporate-level systems. The CommuniGate Pro Dynamic Cluster allows the operator to treat the entire system as a single entity, even if it consists of more than 40 servers. After that, it is available for maintenance, and in the future it can be returned back to the cluster. Such an update mechanism allows the cluster administrator to deactivate a node while distributing open connections to other cluster members until the node is completely offline. In order to eliminate the need for outages, the Dynamic Cluster implements a sequential update mechanism. Imagine a situation in which the cable telephone would be disconnected for servicing on Saturdays. Unfortunately, such outages are completely unacceptable in the field of carrier-grade SaaS solutions. These overlays are often referred to as “scheduled outages” in the corporate IT world. Software and hardware updates on nodes can dramatically worsen the availability time of a communication system. Maintenance of nodes without stopping the service Maintenance of nodes without stopping the service. The key benefits of the Dynamic Cluster, which we will discuss in more detail below, are: Thus, the Dynamic Cluster allows servicing of any of its members and increasing (and decreasing) the involved capacities directly during operation without interruption in the provision of services. At the same time, each node at any time can be removed from the cluster or add a new one in any role. Many other solutions are content with recovery schemes after a fall or hot swap, but not a Dynamic Cluster - in it all systems work together in the form of a single logical entity and all nodes take on their share of the load. The CommuniGate Pro Dynamic Cluster implements an architecture in which all nodes in the cluster are “active”. Also, very often in corporate solutions there is not enough API for connecting the most important component for the provider - billing, since users within the same company are usually not charged. For such systems, it is possible to make “scheduled outages” for maintenance, which is completely unsuitable for SaaS, which must be operational 100% of the time. These technologies, as a rule, operate within the framework of one company with a large IT department managing the system. If you are interested in the nuances of the architecture and configuration of such a cluster, as well as real hardware estimates based on the projects implemented on our platform, I ask for a cat.Ĭorporate and small business solutions are usually not suitable for hosting platforms.
